Starting Again!

Hello Friends! Thanks for stopping by my page. In November of 2009, I hit ONEderland, a.k.a 199 lbs. What a GREAT feeling it was! I bought size 16 jeans and felt like a diva! Yes, a size 16 made me feel like a diva! Well, in those 6 years, I have lost and gained the same 35 lbs or so a few different times. So here I am.... again...back at it! (October 2015) You're only unsuccessful if you quit for good, right? Here goes nothing!

My Goals:
I want to look and feel better. I want to be healthier. I'd like to put on a pair of jeans and look good in them again (a size 10 or 12 would be great!)

My Program:
I am using THE ZONE diet and am using the Spark People nutrition and fitness trackers. I'm riding my bike each week and am doing a bit of strength exercises a few days a week. The time I spend perusing Spark People has become an important part of my day and my weight loss program as well!!

Personal Information:
I live in north Florida in a rural, agricultural community. I teach second grade and have been teaching for about 20 years. I am married and have 2 grown children (26and 28). I have three beautiful grandchildren!


Other Information:
I adore my iPhone6 and like listening to audio books and music as I exercise! I use my phone to track my food, weight, and exercise via the Spark People App! It makes a great stop watch, too!
