Then: I don't feel like losing weight, but I need to, so I signed up for a fitness program with my work buddies. It ends on 2 April, so I made a short-term goal. If all goes well, I'll adjust it at the end of the program and go for more!

Now: I'm now retired from the Air Force and living in DC. I joined a gym with my friend Elizabeth and am hoping to get back to "fit in my uniform" size or better.

Since 2011 is the 10th anniversary of my first marathon, I also ...

Hey there! I do try to weigh myself in at the same time on my weigh in day, preferably in the morning since it can be part of my "wake up" routine (and I haven't eaten anything yet!) :)

I refuse to weigh when my hair is wet, since I have so much hair I don't want any added water weight. And weighing in on Sunday morning motivates me to be better Saturday night. ;)
