Try, try again!

After years of being on spark and not accomplishing much weight loss wise it is time to change it up again. While I have learned a lot about healthier eating for myself it hasn't translated in to weight loss and I really want a more balanced life in that regard.

I am going to change things up every 100 days and review as I go along. The idea behind this is that I will not embark on making changes and then forget about it for a couple of months and then start again. This stopping and starting is what is leading me to yoyo dieting which I never did for most of my life. I am going to make changes that I can build on over time so there is no real end just this one last start. No more yoyo anything.

Thanks for the goodie! I'm making the sauerkraut this weekend but I guess heat kills the good bacteria so it will be different eating it as a side not cooked to get the benefits. I was like you - my favorite way was in Ruebens or Bigos I really do notice a big difference between when I eat cultured foods daily or skip them for a few days so I have to remember to include them every day.

Hi~ Thank-you for your nice comments on my blog. After 40-some years of chasing after my "ideal" weight, I still don't know if I have completely figured it out, but I am a lot closer. I've learned over the years what doesn't work and that's led me to things that are now working. I'm healthier and happier than I have ever been in a long time and feeling like it's with me to stay this time.

Thanks for the balance board! I know it's hard to believe and we might still have snow and cold into May; but with the "official" start of Spring is less than 3 weeks away - one can only hope! It's a balmy 34 degrees here today before it goes back down to the low 20's F LOL.
