Hi Steve,
Happy Sparking! I came across your page through another page, and liked your blog about knowing how to lose but struggle to maintain. I can relate, and when people compliment my weight loss I tend to brush it off, referring to myself as the "queen if the yo-yo". Funny how no-one says to much as you put the weight back on...

Anyway, I see you're on a couple if the fife fighter teams. Unfortunately I haven't found any if them too active since I've been on Spark, which is a shame considering heart attacks being #1 killer of firefighters.

My husband and I are both very active in our local volunteer department (he's a life member & chief engineer and this will be my third year as Captain). He also loves to cook (lucky me!) and has made a lot of changes and is cooking healthy, which is great for both of us and I really appreciate. I still have stress eating issues though and also tend to get derailed whenever I have to travel for my job. I'm sure you have plenty of work stresses too (both my sister's are RNs).

I've added you as a Sparkfriend and am sure we can both reach our goals. There is an "At goal & maintaining" team on Spark and my ultimate dream is the day I join that team!
