My Program:
I follow the competitor's programming at Crossfit Southie as well as my own programming.

I train up to twice a day, 2 - 3 days a week.


Monday AM - lifting and metcon

Monday PM - yoga

Tuesday AM - skill work - gymnastics

Tuesday PM - oly and metcon

Wednesday - active rest (long jog/row or yoga)

Thursday AM - lift + metcon

Thursday PM - oly + skill work

Friday AM - lift + metcon

Saturday - REST

Sunday - track work + lift + skill work

I eat mostly clean, unprocessed foods but I do drink (tequila or cider) on Saturdays with my friends and when I do cheat it's with something sweet. Overload of dairy and gluten are not my friends.

I am doing great! Mostly in balance, maybe a little too much Zumba (lol) but I am trying my best to balance everything (including REST!)

Valentine's day is coming up! Joe and I are planning to do a lovely dinner at one of our favorite Italian joints! So sweet! Reminds me of our trip to Italy!!! (we are hoping to plan another trip this Fall to SE Asia... but with the state of the economy, have you seen the price of oil lately? GAHHHH ...we might need to change our destination?)

I was feeling some discomfort in my right wrist (carpel tunnel-ish feelings) so I decided to take a week off doing any push-up type movements! I'll attempt some today, and hopefully things are getting better! So far so good!

I hope you are able to work through all the relationship stuff with your beau now that you are taking some time away from the gym! I know what you mean though, sometimes it's easier to walk away from a problem then to face it head on!!! But head on confrontation is the only way to move forward and grow, for better or for worse!!!
