This is my motivation! I did it before, I can do it again! 145 lbs (2013) vs. 185 lbs (2012)

Our family back in 2013 after we'd lost a lot of weight. Can't wait to get back to this!

Mama to two beautiful daughters and wife to Michael. I'm here to lose weight, feel better about myself, and live a healthy and happy lifestyle!

Stats: 5'4, SW: 187 (08-15-2015)
Highest Weight: 191

Not my first time on SP - I successfully lost 50 lbs before getting pregnant with my second daughter. I hope I can lose ALL the weight I gained back.

Major goals for 2013: Run a 5k (and do it seriously, not just walking for fun like I've done in the past), see the 160's on the scale for the first time in a decade (DONE! 05-31-2013), and get out of size 14 pants (DONE!).

New Goals: Reach 140's (DONE! Aug 2013), tone up my midsection, start a consistent workout regimen, stop being so critical of my body!

This isn't my first sparkpeople experience, but hopefully it's my most successful and long lasting! (As of today, it IS my most successful! Yay!)

----------update: August 2013------------
As of 8/16/2013 I'm down 35 lbs. I have been the same weight for two Friday weigh-ins, so I think this is officially my first plateau. I'm finding it hard to get an exercise routine started, but now that diet change alone isn't helping me drop more weight, I'm in need of a change :)

----------update: June 2013---------------
After 8 weeks of SP, I'm down 20 lbs and feeling great! Just started exercising in addition to eating better (always staying within my calorie range) and the weightloss is slowing down. Hopefully it's because I'm building muscle!

My Goals:
Overall, I want to lose 50 lbs, but for now I'd love to get down to a size 10, and lose that postpartum baby flab!

Mostly, I want to be comfortable in my own skin, live a healthy lifestyle, and be happy.

My Program:
My eating plan is vegetarian, lowfat, and mindful. I'm trying to stop mindless eating, and cut out processed junk!

Track every calorie I eat! Every single calorie counts and it gets logged into my SP food tracker.

Walking, jogging, keeping track of my food, using my elliptical, 21 Day Fix videos, and Coach Nicole DVDs.

I'm a UC Davis graduate with a degree in sociology, and a stay at home mom.

I love my husband Michael. He is my best friend, and my support system. We have two amazing daughters who keep us active, exhausted, and so happy.

I have a flair for procrastination...and not to mention my awesome ability to come up with excuses! I have to hold myself accountable, because at the end of the day, I make my own choices.

Other Information:
I am a huge nerd! Doctor Who, Supernatural & Harry Potter make my world go round.

I am addicted to the written word. Reading is my favorite thing to do. Oh, and crazed Netflix marathons ;)

I'm a self-taught crocheter, who is still learning the basics..but I'm quite proud of my stuff!
