Change your mentality, change your life!

Life.....it can get in the way. Most of us can't put certain things on hold, like work, parenting, etc. to devote to hours upon hours in the gym daily. I was on such a great streak. Working out 5 days a week from Dec 13 to about May 14, then work got in the way. I should have been more prepared. I knew it was coming. Summertime at work is THE busiest time of the year. Working out 5 days a week from Dec 13 to about May 14, then work got in the way. I should have been more prepared. I knew it was coming. Summertime at work is THE busiest time of the year. It's hard to walk away from your desk for 20 min no less an hour to work out. You come back to about 50 emails. I'm not a morning person, so working out at 7am just isn't what I like to do, nor do I enjoy dropping my daughter off at school at 6:30am, knowing I'm not picking her up until almost 6. But those are excuses. I'm ready to get back into the gym. I've started doing 5Ks. One I did on the 24th of Aug, after not being in the gym for 2 1/2 months. It was rough. I finished in 48 minutes, but I know I can go faster and beat my time. I'm ready to be back on track and change my life! I'm getting back in the gym, and eating better, and tracking my food. I need to do this for me and my daughter (and the new pair of jeans I just bought that are a size smaller than my current ones). :)

Track my measurements - weekly
Drink 8 glasses of water - daily
Weigh myself - every 2 weeks ONLY

My Program:
I am competing in the Fall 5% challenge. I plan on working out 5 days a week, with a mix of cardio and strength training. I'd really like to work on firming up my butt and losing the fat in my midsection. I plan on watching and tracking what I eat, and staying within my calorie range which is about 1200.

Personal Information:
I'm 30 years old, with a 4 year old daughter. She is the love of my life! I'm in Cleveland, Ohio.

Other Information:
I love reading mystery books and watching shows like Forensic Files & First 48.
