Just for today

Just for today, I'm going to make healthy choices in my life. I'll worry about tomorrow when it becomes today. I can do ANYTHING "just for today." I believe that my history is NOT my destiny. At any given moment I have the power to say this it not how the story is going to end.

I reached my Spark goal in 2011, losing 75 lb. via good nutrition, cardio & strength. My goal for 2014 is to be joyful and live life to the fullest!

My Goals:
SHORT TERM GOALS:
Become a grandmother - January 2014.

MID-RANGE GOALS:
Do a weekend backpacking trip in May and June with DH.

LONG-RANGE GOALS:
Visit Spark friends TERESA159, JECKIE, and CRAZYDOGLADYBO in 2014.

My Program:
1) Use nutrition tracker daily, adding fiber tracking, and stay within recommended goals for maintenance.

2) Minimum of 30 cardio minutes, six days/wk

3) Strength training for a minimum 30 min. 2x/wk

4) Use my Spark friend network to support my goals.

5) Maintain my weight at plus/minus 5 pounds of goal.

I'm a married New Englander living in Maryland who telecommutes full-time.

Monday – well, this is it! Jason’s first day. Off early to be on time!

Yesterday . . . not the best, dang! Microwave quit so went looking for a new one. On the way to store #2 the brake light came on. OH NUTS! So, had to call it quits and come home. Hopefully will get it taken care of today.

Then arrived home to a problem with the freezer. NO NO NO! Did a few things and it seems to be working now. Thank goodness!

So that was our adventure yesterday. Praying Jason has a good day . . . I know he will.

Wow! The temperature right now is 52 degrees . . . in July! Feels good to me, but unexpected. Will get up to 70. Weather flip-flop I guess.
