I want to be me again!

My name is Nicole. I am 32 years old. I've been married for 10 years. I have a 10 year old son and a 6 year old son. They are the most important things in the world to me.

I am a science geek. I love ALL forms of science and can talk anyone into a coma about anything scientific. I am especially fond of Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, and Paleontology.

My weight loss goal is to lose about 130 more lbs. That means my goal weight is 150. I know I can do it this time. ...

Good luck. We both have the same amount of weight to lose, 90 pounds. We can do this

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” ~ World Health Organization

It seems like many of us face a continual battle to stay positive when little progress is apparent. We just have to keep in mind that we our efforts will result in a healthier life. We need to focus on how we are feeling and the energy we have to accomplish daily life tasks. I’m working hard to concentrate on my health rather than just on the number on the scale; to concentrate on non-scale victories to help me stay positive every day.

“There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstances permit. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.” ~Unknown

That quote describes how I’ve been living my “Sparklife” for the past year! I’ve been interested but not committed. As soon as I faced an obstacle, no matter how small and insignificant, I let it take precedence over moving forward. The result has been 10 steps back for every step forward and that MUST change. Let’s make this last week of March lead us into an awesome April!
Let’s stay focused on our goals, determined to reach them, and positive that we will!
Sheila
