Looking Forward

What adventure lies ahead!

"What the mind can conceive, the body can achieve."

In the long run you hit only what you aim at. Therefore, though you should fail immediately, you had better aim at something high. - Henry David Thoreau

"Whether you prevail or fail depends more on what you do to yourself than on what the world does to you" - Jim Collins

Never, never give up.

Oh my dear friend and buddy, thank you so much for thinking of me with the beach towel and for all you wrote. I love it and will read it over and over again for incentive. Yes, I will print it off! As far as insomnia, I've been on Melatonin and that just doesn't help enough. I talked to my new RA Dr. and he suggested talking to my MD about it, so that's what I will do and try to get on a low dose to begin with and he said that the newer meds. now don't have the addictions like the older ones do. Yay!! As far as a dream, I'm working towards losing all I can up to April, when I DH and I want to go down to New Mexico to surprise his brother who will be turning 50! emoticon So that's a start. For a longer off dream, my DH has promised me a brand new Beetle Bug. I had asked him to help me with an incentive and he knew how much I've always loved the "Bug", so told me that, with his loving, kind heart!! emoticon I don't like water, so wouldn't want to go on a cruise. DH doesn't like to fly, so Hawaii is out because that always was a dream to get back there again, after I went with my girlfriend when I was in high school, the summer before graduating. Since I started SP, my aim has been to get into a size 12 comfortably, and I've hung up outfits, etc. to no avail. I have a spare closet full of beautiful size 12 clothes that I try on every once in awhile to no avail. Do you have any other ideas to help me see that I really want that? You being such a thin Ronna, could help wonders, I know, with how you've gotten down into the 120's!! Help! emoticon I was 122 when we got married!! And 33 years later I'm up 50#, but was up 60# more! So there's hope! Thanks again for all you helped me with and as you know and said, I will not give up!

Thank you for the workout clothes! Will prob skip working out for the next couple of days though until bruising on stomach heals. Hurts to have anything touch them (blood thinner injections). Am excited to have lost my little three pounds so far this month. haha I decided to try and lose a very reasonable 1 pound a week and take it slow and easy this time around instead of going all gung ho and then quitting. Hope your weekend is going great!! emoticon
