5/5/10--ALMOST a year since my last 'start'

ooooohhhhhh......i cannot explain it...i just know i have been soooooo neglectful of karen....
i've decided it's MY TURN, i am going to be a little KAREN-CENTERED and get back to taking care of me...
i am not totally motivated, but as one of our fellow sparkers told herself,(and, i believe nike might have mentioned it...(^_^)) 'i don't HAVE to be motivated, i just have to DO IT'...MY GAMEPLAN is to just CREATE GOOD HABITS and not question 'why?'...ROUTINES will be my saving ...

RE-RE-START at 382(hit 392!!!)
CLEAN SLATE --no recrimminations...at 382!!!

10 percent loss=338 due 5/26...achieved?
10 percent loss of 338=304...due 6/16...
10 percent loss of 304=274...due 7/7...
10 percent loss of 274=247...due 7/28...
10 percent loss of 247=222...due 8/18...

10 percent loss of 200=180--will be ONEderful!!!...due9/29

rewards...knees free of(or at least lessened) pain,
...able to enjoy some of my favorite activities,
...bicycling with the kiddies,
...mowing my OWN lawn,
...PLAYING, PLAYING, PLAYING...
...MUCH more energy...thus, a better attitude(^_^)

My Program:
after tracking my food and my blood glucose and being attentive to carb (wth protein)
consumption..i've added/increased movement...
still need to incorporate routine exercise...

Personal Information:
i'm from Missouri, so, i need to be shown something before i believe it... except the BIG STUFF that
i do accept on faith...

Other Information:
once i am "fitter" again, i will be biking,
swimming(in public)and bowling...and

i've always enjoyed
road trips so i'll be able to combine the biking with the travel

I ordered the book from Amazon but after I did, I saw Spark ask if we would get it in "stores" because that helps propel them up the best sellers list. Had I known, I would have bought it directly...

I think you will like it...full of plans, and ideas and recipes!

yes, still here but not very active here these days

gastric bypass team yes, but no surgery

went to the GB dr but they told me my A1C was too high

daaaaaaaaaa
it always has been
would have saved thousands of dollars if they had told me that FIRST

oh yes, most of that money would have been insurance
