Spring brings new hope

Even though the frost keeps nipping at our tulips and magnolias, there is new life trying to work its way into our lives again. Our baby rabbits of fall are big and beautiful this spring so prospered nicely under our porch. Hope is in the air!

I have lived in Moline, IL all my life. My husband is an immigrant from Holland and I am third generation from Belgian immigrants. I love the European lifestyle and cooking their great food but also love all types of food that allows healthy eating.

Thank you for your interest. My husband and I have been following Leslie's challenge by doing the walks everyday. I also babysit two little granddaughters everyday and keep busy with the plans of marrying another daughter in April.

We bought the latest Dance 3 video game over the weekend and have been doing some of the dances as well. That has been a riot. My daughter came over to dance for a couple of hours but my feet are a tad sore from doing so much dancing. I'm warming up for the wedding.
