Everyone calls me Butch.
I have been working on lowering my blood pressure for about 7 years now (fairly successfully). My wife and I work out about every other day. I have dropped about 20 lbs so far, and my overall health seems to be fairly good.

Since being diagnosed with high blood pressure, I have dropped from 240/120 to 130/67 (approximately). My pulse has dropped from 90+ to about 43BPM (at rest)).

I'll try to post more later, but for now it's off to the "dreadmill" ;-)

At least 3 days/week:

30 minutes on a treadmill or stationary bicycle.

2 sets of 20 crunches with 90 lb of weight.

2 sets of 20 back extensions with 90 lb of weight.

And on Saturday, 30 minutes of swimming.

Men really do stick out in zumba like a sore thumb. I really wish that would change. I have seen men in my classes they just never return lol

Thanks for the comment on my blog. The warm up I did but I think I slacked on the stretching. Next time I will be sure to stretch properly.

Thanks for your comment. I really like your definition of a "fighter". I'll have to post that somewhere where I can see it to remind me. The sun is out, today is a rest day (well, get chores done day, no exercise), and tomorrow I'm meeting friends for a bike ride. Then on to a ride in the tulips on Saturday. I think I'm on the mend. Thanks a lot. Your words helped me gain perspective.
