This has been an extensive journey of personal and physical growth, revealing of the ways in which our society and the health industry operate by exploiting shame. I have unfortunately perpetuated this in probably the majority of my blog posts. For now they remain as they are, unedited, because that was who I was at the time. Proceed with caution.

Luckily I have learned how to end the shame cycle and now I am just working to continue to love myself and continue to practice plenty of self care in all the forms that can take.

Current goal: make exercise a regular self care habit.

Personal mantra: You can do ANYTHING for 30 seconds.

The only whole foods bread I've had was a multi seed roll. I like Cress Spring better. I don't know how to describe it other than to say it's more rustic.

They use all whole grains, I'm going to say all organic ingredients. Good, dense breads, good scones and cookies. There's nothing quite like a cheddar chive scone from there with a bowl of chili. Excellent gigantic ginger cookies and raisin rolls too. They also do some gluten free products.

Hmm, Chris and Lori's Bakehouse might also be at the Westside Market, in the DOT parking lot. My fave is Cress Spring. Love the farmers markets!

I didn't know Macha closed. I did not go there often, but always liked it when I did go there.

You meant Collectivo, right? Nice place! I live about 5 blocks away on Allen St, but just go for fun, since I'm retired. We have at least 7 coffee or tea places within a mile of our house. I love it!
