tomorrow is here today

For a long time I've been thinking to myself tomorrow I'll start eating healthier and exercising. Someday I'll lose some weight and feel better. If I could just lose a few pounds, wouldn't that outfit look just great? Well, tomorrow is here today. I'm going to work out more, create and stick to a healthy eating plan and log it on spark everyday. Although I could use all the encouragement I can get, I realize the change is up to me and in my control. I know I may have bad and good days, but boy ...

My Goals:
1.I want to feel more energy and become healthier... losing weight is the icing on the cake!
2. I have a favorite pair of red jeans that I would love to be able to fit into again.
3. Be realistic and patient with myself.
1st goal 250...complete! bought myself a new, more accurate scale.
Next goal... 240... have my 1st pedicure. I'm really looking forward to that! completed May 13th
Next goal 230... still figuring out what to give myself

My Program:
baby steps:
drink more water
exercise more
watch and track my food
move around and get outside

Personal Information:
I'm an in home caregiver and have 3 wonderful children and 2 little grandsons. I love to play in the dirt (as in gardening), play on the computer and watch tv and movies. I'm a big Leslie Sansome fan! I also like Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.

I do the same thing; I have to sometimes haul my butt to the gym, but once I've really worked up a sweat, I'm like, "Why was I hesitating?!" And the best part is the cool shower afterwards! Ahhhhh!

Thanks also for your comment on my blog! I do feel like I've got a lot going on right now. I've had some major anxiety issues in the past complete with panic attacks so this is something that I need to pay attention to.

Exercise is definitely very helpful and I need to remember that! Often when I'm in an anxious state, I feel paralyzed when it comes to doing things. Especially things like exercise. I need to sort of remind myself that forcing myself to do a bit of activity will help clear my mind :)
