Suzy is a Kindergarten teacher. Laurie-Pet sitter, groomer, and kennel tech. Suzy, my oldest daughter, has given me 2 grand daughters-Kayleigh will be starting 7th grade. Allison will be starting 2nd grade. Both of my grand daughters are academically gifted. Little smarties!
I have been a teacher, a registered nurse for 10 years, a secretarial assistant and receptionist, and a cosmetologist who does makeovers.
Had to retire from all work in 2007 due, to disability. Got adult hydrocephalus, had a drain shunt put in my brain, but I have lost bunches of both long and short memory, my balance, and some of my confidence.
Lost my Mom, one year ago at age 82, and worry about my Daddy who is 88 with some memory problems.
Will do my best, as I once again start this journey toward good health, and good choices in my life.
By God's Grace, I hope to make this endeavor a success.

Good Morning Kathy

Dropping by to wish you a Blessed Easter Weekend and share a special Easter Poem....

Easter Means Eternal Life

A perfect God demands a perfect justice;
He cannot let us get away with sin.
We used Godís gift of our free will to trespass,
So heavenís gates were closed; we couldnít get in.

Our sin required our blood, a sacrifice,
To atone for all the wrongs that we had done.
"But I love them!" cried our Father, filled with sorrow;
"Iíll send my only Son to be the one."

Good Friday marks the slaying of our Jesus,
The unblemished lamb, the perfect sacrifice.
He took our guilt and blame upon Himself,
So we could be with Him in paradise.

On Easter morning, he came back from death;
He vanished from the tomb, the empty grave.
His resurrection means eternal life
For us, the ones he came to earth to save.

This summarizes all the Easter story
And because of it, weíll be with Him in glory.

OK, the no gluten diet is too restrictive. Not doing that one. Got a new sewing machine for Christmas, have all the accessories I need, and have bought some Easter dress material. Anything to keep those hands off food! Surprisingly, I'm just not really hungry Some fresh strawberries have been the highlight of my day-and they were good. No cake and Cool Whip. Just freshly washed, and eaten whole, strawberries! I'm like a visitor at Sparks right now, don't really have the energy. I will be poking around though. Kathy

Thank you for all the great support you friends have given me.
My MD has me on a no gluten, no citrus, no fat, and not a lot to choose from diet. Hopefully to lessen my middle. Couldn't hurt? See y'all, Kathy
