What a constantly changing journey this is! I started Sparkpeople early December, 2007, weighing in at around 204lbs. By July, 2009, I was back up to 220lbs :( I joined a gym in February, 2009, starting out at 213. Had a personal trainer off and on from Marchish to July. I really liked her, but was gaining, instead of losing! What a constantly changing journey this is! I started Sparkpeople early December, 2007, weighing in at around 204lbs. By July, 2009, I was back up to 220lbs :( I joined a gym in February, 2009, starting out at 213. Had a personal trainer off and on from Marchish to July. I really liked her, but was gaining, instead of losing! I kept being told it was because I was gaining muscle, etc. She quit, so I transferred to a new trainer since I still had a few weeks left in that package. Initial weigh in with the new trainer was a shock, and embarrassing. But, the switch was a good one for me! Since the end of July I have went from 220lbs to 197lbs!!! That lightbulb finally went off, and something clicked for me. I have for the most part overcome my emotional eating. I am writing down everything I eat. I have turned in to an exercise junkie. I can not believe this is me :) I still have a long journey ahead of me, but feel confident that I can do this! So much already feels like the lifestyle change you always hear/read about. I added some progression photos, starting in early March 2009.

My Goals:
To stay on track.
To get my exercise in.
To be a good role model for my kids.

My Program:
I am drinking a minimum of 64oz of water a day.

I am getting in 4-5 hours of cardio a week. I have 2 hours of personal training a week that focuses on strength training.

I am making this a lifestyle change by writing down everything I eat and being conscious of everything I am putting into my body.
