Hi! I am 42 and looking to lose 35 pounds. I like to run and stay active, but my eating has gotten outta control in the last 3 years!!! I decided to try Sparkpeople to hold myself accountable and so far, I love it! My husband and I have the "Yours, mine and ours" and there are 8! We also own our own restaurant and that makes it really tought with the long hours, sporatic eating and food always in front of me. Looking forward to reading everyones success stories and getting motivated!

My Goals:
I want to try to shoot for the short term goals (lose 2 lbs this week) rather than 35 lbs. in 2 months. I think it might work better for me. I also need to change the way I eat in general. Plan out the meals better for better overall healthy eating.

My Program:
I have adjusted my calories accordingly and am sticking to my fitness goals. I like to run and bike, so now I really have a reason to stick with it.
