I quietly return

It has been a long winter, and a very trying time in my life. As I await surgery, I am quietly picking up the strings of my life again....

My Goals:
I have a lot of weight to lose and I know it will take some time, as it took time to put it onto my body. I take it one day at a time, and strengthen my resolve to succeed, with my friendshipson SP and leading my TOPS group.

My Program:
-anything in moderation.
-sensible food choices.
-exercise when I can achieve it without a big amount of pain.
-tracking everything onSP

Personal Information:
I live in Canada, in a small isolated town on the wild west coast of BC.
I have never married, nor have I had children, just not things that came my way in this lifetime
I am a leader of a TOPS group that meets in my home on wed mornings.
I have been a leader in one other group, and then this group I started in my own home, since I was 25.
I became diabetic at that age as well.

Other Information:
I recently discovered painting with watercolor and paint daily now. It is a hobby that helps keep me out of the kitchen and and the fridge! ha ha

I used to occassional paint with oil paint but it would take so long to dry and you had to clean up every time and also had to waste leftover paint........not so with watercolor! Makes me much happier about this activity!

HI, Bear!

I am happier than a gofer in soft ground that you have joined the "Question of the Day" team. I think it is a good way to get to know about lives &/or thoughts of other folks here at SP.

The beauty is that one answers only questions that they feel comfortable with or have time to answer.

Looking forward to touching lives with you on the team, as well as though our other forms of communication here at SP.

God bless!

Thank you so much for the goodie and info! It was nice of you to take the time out to answer my question, I didn't even know where to look.

It was a nice surprise to see your message on my page, Bear. I hadn't expected that you would be able to get to your computer again so soon.

Been a good day for us --- another surprisingly Spring like day weatherwise. Got out for a nice walk & spent some time on the deck, while soaking up the warmth from the sun & enjoying the fresh mountain air. I didn't even think to open windows for some of that fresh air to come in. I generally do so at every opportunity given, so why I didn't automatically do so, is a mystery to this gal.

Our pastor is ill, so we didn't have the pleasure of his teaching --- the young guy who gave the teaching did a great job. Still, we missed Eric's time in the Word.

God bless you with a comfortable time of it, Bear!

I look forward to hearing how you are doing.

In the words of a wise woman --- "See you thin!"
