My Goals:
I intend to maintain a healthy weight, to thrive doing exercise I love, and to have fun.

My Program:
I want to live a healthy life "full out." I am healthy, and consider it my job to protect that gift!

Personal Information:
I was born in the Pacific Northwest, but live in Virginia (Metro DC) now. I always have a foot in each place--I love them both. I love the water and being outdoors and so I try to be active there when I can. The gym is a good fall back though!

Other Information:
I am married, mother to a son, stepmom to a daughter and two sons. Grandmother to 5. Being active with my family is important--we are a movin' bunch.

I am trying the beet noodles. Did you put olive oil on them when you roasted them?


I roasted the beets and then mixed them with a dressing with goat cheese and pecans. It was a hit.

Thanks for your encouragement. I am making a batch of spaghetti sauce with meatballs. It will last me for at least 6 meals, I just need to control he pasta part!

I have denied myself things I like too long. But, I have never eaten things I don't like to lose.

This week I stayed the same weight, so I didn't do any damage eating fruits like crazy. But looking at the last 12 months, I have been sliding up and down the same 8 pounds. And even though everybody thinks I look great, I don't. So, I need to buckle down.
