My Goals:
I intend to maintain a healthy weight, to thrive doing exercise I love, and to have fun.

My Program:
I want to live a healthy life "full out." I am healthy, and consider it my job to protect that gift!

Personal Information:
I was born in the Pacific Northwest, but live in Virginia (Metro DC) now. I always have a foot in each place--I love them both. I love the water and being outdoors and so I try to be active there when I can. The gym is a good fall back though!

Other Information:
I am married, mother to a son, stepmom to a daughter and two sons. Grandmother to 5. Being active with my family is important--we are a movin' bunch.

emoticon Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving your comments. I like the term being on track instead of diet, too. I am using the term eating program instead of diet. I've been on and off too many diets. Now I am on an eating program for life.

Thanks for the bloglove on my Getting Around to Those Goals Post.. I do feel focused and energized - these longer evenings are helping but so is just an attitude adjustment that slipped in on me unexpectedly. I saw there is going to be a kayak trip in the Potomac sponsored by Stratford Hall this month and I thought - I would not be going out on that cold water in March. Mid-April, maybe, but uh uh. Not March. Still - we'll be on the water soon, won't we?
