Hi
I am Treesa.I was a big spark page user and lost a lot of weight, met a lot of great friends in doing so. Life got difficult and I had a few changes in my life. Needless to say I gained some weight in the process. I am back to what I know works! Logging my food and exercise and getting help from people in the same situation! I hope I can motivate some of you as well. My son is getting married in April 2017. I have time to get fit. Let's do it together!

My Goals:
My goal is to stay at 135 and not gain the weight back. I want to tone up my body and be more healthy in the process. I want to exercise every day because it is fun not because I have too.

My Program:
I am following weight watchers with a low carb concentration. I try to do cardio 3-4 times a week and strength training 3 times a week. I love Coach Niclole's quick but effective videos and do them often.
I have made it through the c25k program and enjoy running. I still try to walk every day and add a run into the walks when I am out alone or with my dogs.

Personal Information:
I live in Northern lower Michigan. I recently retired after teaching Special Education after 30 years. I have 4 grown sons and plan on traveling to visit them more now that I have the time to do so.

Other Information:
I like to read when I have time to just sit and do it. I m learning to crochet to keep my hands busy while watching tv. I love tv shows like the csi shows and army wives. I dont watch much tv because commercials are just too long. I play golf in the summer and x-country ski in the winters.

Teresa, bout the bride of frankenstein photo of mine: can you guess what the hair is made of? Last summer we had a chili pepper pinata! After it was broke into I kept the 2 halves! Went to a craft store and purchased 4 squares of that fake fur. glued it on, and added two paint stripes up the side for the lightening burns! I throw little away! LOL the dress is an old curtain shear (hole cut in middle for my head to pop thru!

    luv halloween!

hi! We are looking at Clio. Andy (my husband) works there and it has that nice "little" town feeling. We have looked a few, but nothing serious yet. Trying to get moved out of ours in such a short amount of time with all my girl scout stuff is overwhelming!

Thanks so much for dropping by my page to visit and to read and comment on my Focus blog. The quotes were all so profound and true, and I'm glad you found them interesting, too! Hope you have a great weekend!

Thank you very much for your encouraging words on my page. How generous and gracious of you!

I've never thought of myself as "passionate," but ... I like it! emoticon

Thank your for seeing something in me that I have not seen in myself ... and for showing it to me. I have had a BEST FRIEND (after God and my husband) for more than 40 years who does that. I always thought SHE was the passionate one!

I read some of your page before writing this. Obviously you are one of those teachers who impact your students and others you meet positively ... for eternity. I'm trying to remember that saying about 'teachers influence eternity,' but it has slipped me at the moment.

emoticon on reaching and maintaining your goal! You are an inspiration to the rest of us!

Thank you again for your generosity and graciousness and encouragement.

I am going to add you to my friends. Hope you don't mind. emoticon

I really like your comment on my blog... there has been a few teachers in my life that made things really hard for me, but there have been teachers that have also been there for me when I needed to talk, let me go at my own pace, figured out what worked for me, helped me out... and those are the teachers that made a hugely positive influence, not just in my school work, but life in general.
After I wrote this note, I wrote another one to one of my other gym teachers from that same semester. He helped me, let me go at my own pace, taught me how to push myself without overexerting... and I told him how much I appreciated that. He wrote back a note that said he was very happy to hear from me and happy to hear that he made a positive difference.
So I guess I want to thank you for being one of the good teachers and trying your best at something you are passionate about. I really appreciate that there are teachers like you out there who are having a positive influence on their students. I think teachers like you are amazing and important!!!!
