For Real This Time

Hey. So I'm 24, and want to lose 5 sizes or 30 - 40 pounds by my 25th birthday so I can wear a super sexy little dress. I've been overweight since I was about 15, and I try to lose weight, but I get unmotivated easily when I get on the scale and don't see results. I know muscle weighs more than fat, but it takes forever for me to notice a difference in my size, and I find it disheartening. But this time I'm doing it for real. Hey. So I'm 24, and want to lose 5 sizes or 30 - 40 pounds by my 25th birthday so I can wear a super sexy little dress. I've been overweight since I was about 15, and I try to lose weight, but I get unmotivated easily when I get on the scale and don't see results. I know muscle weighs more than fat, but it takes forever for me to notice a difference in my size, and I find it disheartening. But this time I'm doing it for real. I'm in University for Forestry, and if I ever want to be successful in forestry I have to lose weight and get in better shape so I can handle summer field work.

April 11th - I am finally starting to notice a different inc emy body!! I think it's pretty awesome. I'm trying not to be too hard on myself when I don't work out, or when I eat badly. That just makes me want to wuit. I have enough pressure on myself between my sometimes unrealistic goals and school. I'm finding exercise helps me handle the stresses in my life better, and one day I truly believe I will be proud of myself.

Thanks for the Spark Goodie! As I type this, it's terribly dreary and thundering/raining, so the rainbow was awesome! :-)

I'm from SW Michigan in the states. We lived on Kodiak Island, AK and drove up when we moved. I saw the first bear of the trip outside of Prince George (I think it was called) and almost got eaten alive by mosquitoes at the Whiskey Point Provincial park. ;-)

I find that I prefer going to the gym during my lunch break. It splits the day nicely in half and the gym isn't as busy as it is before and after work.

Practice makes perfect though. Now get back to studying ;)

Not so much but I've just come to the realisation that I have to just force myself to go and lose presonal time. If I'm going to reach my goals I'm going to have to make sacrifices.

That should work! I tend to do no more than an hour of cardio at a time, so lowering your cardio time (but maybe increasing your intensity?) will help! Good luck with ST routine!
