Afraid to change, terrified to stay the same...

I'm not really sure how much I weigh - I made an educated guess based on my last doctor visit three months ago to start out. I'd go weigh myself but I am so heavy I actually broke the scale - and it's a scale designed for plus sized people! That more than anything else made it clear to me that a change needs to happen, and it needs to happen NOW.

They say the first step in fighting any addiction is to admit you are an addict. So I will say I am addicted to food, and some days I find that "staying sober" is a hard thing to do! I am both eager and terrified to lose weight, and could use all the help and support I can get.

Time to start my journey.
