Trish-Trying Again

I joined SparkPeople almost 2 weeks ago but am really just started on Monday. I tracked my food yesterday in spite of not making the best choices. So I guess that is good. Have tried lots of things. I lost almost 70 pounds doing weight watchers again in 2010 but really could not afford the fees so I stopped and did not continue the plan and I have gained about 50 of it back. I tried Curves with their new weight loss plan with the coaching but the coaches made me feel guilty if I slipped. So I ...

I lost almost 70 pounds doing weight watchers again in 2010 but really could not afford the fees so I stopped and did not continue the plan and I have gained about 50 of it back. I tried Curves with their new weight loss plan with the coaching but the coaches made me feel guilty if I slipped. So I stopped going there and but had a very stressful school year and gined the 25 pounds plus 5 more back this year. For the last 2 years I have worked in daycare centers and had a uniform, I finally got a job in the public school system so I would like to lose at least close to the 30 pounds by the time school starts back. I have to buy new clothes for school and I really don't want to buy size 22 or 20.

Nice to have you with us! I noticed in your introduction you mentioned tracking the good, bad, and the ugly. That's how I started, too. And, boy, was it ugly! It took me awhile to realize it was going to take a bit of awareness, effort, and accountability on my part to get the calories intake down and start making better choices.
I still track it all...even the goldfish I ate for dinner tonight.
