Thanks for taking a look at my new quilt. It is much better looking (more professional) than the two of mine that burned in the fire -- but of course, as I made them I miss them a lot. One was a log cabin pattern and it was the first quilt I had ever made. Then the other one was a Queen-sized one that I had made about a year before the fire. It was completely hand stitched, applique of flowers in baskets, each square was an original design basket of flowers, so definitely a one-of-a-kind and one that even I could not duplicate. I just designed the flower arrangements as I went along.

Yes, I loved that art work the minute I saw it. Didn't really need it, but who can resist a bargain? lol

Thanks for coming by to look at the flowers at my summer home. I love that dark purple one too, and strange as it sounds, I don't even remember planting it; but I know it's not one of the usual "wild" flowers. I know it has to be one of the plants we brought from the nursery, but what it is ????? I do know that some of our hybrid lilies did not make it, but in that particular planter (again in the rocks) suddenly there are sweet peas coming up. There are many homes in the area that had sweet peas growing along their fences in front, and so evidently I have some of the seeds that the fire scattered.
One of the fringe benefits.

Thanks for taking a look at Holly's photos. Yes, she is so beautiful, cuddly and little. I love the unusual markings she has, and as I really like white cats, I'm especially drawn to her with all of her white hair, she still doesn't get any on me. I wore a black shirt when I went to view her -- just to check it out.

I had an all-white cat named Angel. Both DH and I loved her so much ---- but, she developed a bad habit of peeing on the throw rugs. One of mine is an Oriental that I've had for years and cost $3000 -- couldn't afford to change my floors to tile, or let her ruin something so precious. Took her back to her foster mom. It broke my heart, but what could I do?

Hugs, Eve
