Trixie Gets Healthy

I'm a 43-year old wife and mother to 13-year old boy/girl twins. I've struggled with my weight all of my life but I have finally found a plan to get healthy that works for me and has become a way of life. I'm a low carb eater, I'm a runner, and I do Pilates. I am getting stronger, healthier, and slimmer every day!

TRIXIETEXAS has a new low number on the scale today. 193.6. I have officially lost 100 pounds!!!!!

My Goals:
I started at 294 pounds in January of 2013 and my goal is 130-140 pounds. I try to worry less about the scale though and more about how I feel and look.

My Program:
I am a low carb eater. I generally try to stay under 1700 calories per day but don't stress about it much as long as my carbs stay around 20 grams per day.

I run every other day (I have become an avid runner!)
On my non-run days, I do long walks.
I get at least 10,000 steps every day, without fail, no exceptions!!!
I also do short abs and arms workouts every other day.
I have become a fitness junkie!

I love to share with others more details about my program, especially how I went from a 1,000 step per day, almost totally sedentary lifestyle, to a fitness addict. Feel free to message me for more info!

Personal Information:
I am a native Texan currently living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In December of this year I will be moving back to East Texas (Canton/Tyler area).

Other Information:
I'm a nut about soccer (especially American soccer, MLS. FC Dallas is my team)!
I love to read, sci-fi and non-fiction.
