That''s me on the left. I was shocked when I saw this photo of me. I knew I was heavier than I wanted to be, but I had tricked myself into believing I didn''t look that different than I did when I was thinner. Boy was I wrong! Look at the difference between the top picture and the one underneath. It''s about 25 lbs. I''ve never had this much weight to lose - not since I had just given birth. I really, really, really want to be successful this time, but have gotten myself addicted to snacking ...

I really, really, really want to be successful this time, but have gotten myself addicted to snacking and staying up too late. I really hope I can do it this time. I did before - but that was before my thyroid issues. I''d really love to kick some ass this time, and lose some of mine in the process!!

Smile more!!

Be positive!

Be nice to myself.

Spend MORE time with the kids, and less time on the computer.

I want to feel sexy!

I want to feel physically good - no more headaches, and just feel better, healthier in general.

I want to be able to wear my engagement ring again.

I'd like to be able to fit in my clothes comfortably, not squeezed in.

I'd like to be able to walk uphill without being out of breath.

I want more energy.

I want to wear a bikini this summer!

And in the words of Lester Burnam, I want to look good naked. :P

My Program:
I'm going to be doing some Jillian Michaels dvds and walking. Maybe some yoga and barre. If I'm not seeing results, I'll do something more challenging.

Make better food choices and plan meals.

Get in my protein, calcium, fiber, fruits, veggies, and water water water!

Try to cut back on junk food, but allow myself treats, and don't beat myself up if I slip. Move on!!

I have no Thyroid and Diabetes 2. I've tried WW and it's just too hard since they dont offer a Diabetes Program. But, I have been doing great with low carb high protein and lots of veges of all colors. It works for me. You can do this 👍

Hi! I just joined the hypothyroid team and noticed your name on the team. As I read your comments, I recognize much of what I have gone through! Although you are much younger than I am :-) I started weight watchers over 3 years ago. it worked for a while. But what I found that, with our condition, a lower carb, no sugar way of life seems to work a little better. Have you tried a low carb way of eating yet? I say low carb, but how I do it is lean protien, lots and lots of green veggies and some fruits and berries. Hope this helps! Hang in there...
