To be the size I was when my husband and I met.
To be more active.
Be good to myself so that I can be good at loving others.
For the next few months until gardening season: 30+ minutes of cardio 4 - 7 days per week; elliptical, walking or wogging. Strength training 3 - 5 days per week. 2 exercises per region (upper, core, lower).
Being the best me I can be today. Exercise is more fun when I have someone to do it with, and even better if I have a trainer! (no kidding, huh?)
Eat less. Move more. Be grateful. Get happy. Savor joy.
Oh, Lee, he had a hand grenade blow up in his hand, next to his face, during the Viet Nam war when he was only 18 years old. He thought his life was over and that noone could love him looking the way he looked. His high school sweetheart still married him and they have been together 46 years, and through it all, he still had a purpose and still got out of bed everyday, and went through many surgeries, he has no fingers, but they built him a thumb out of his hip for both hands, and he kept pushing on and through the years he found his purpose speaking to Vets when they are seveyly injured and not letting them give up hope. It was very moving but he told the story with lots of humor, so though it was a sad story, he kept everyone laughing the whole time!
