Calm and Strong

My name is Abby and I have struggled with the constant ups and downs of my weight for the last 10 or 11 years. It seems that every time I finally succeed in getting my weight down to where I feel healthy and fit, some aspect of life, some excuse...something, always gets in the way and reverses the success I've gained. A co-worker just introduced me to this site and I'm hoping it will keep me on track and finally allow me to maintain my acheivements once I reach my goals. Part of my everyday ...
My name is Abby and I have struggled with the constant ups and downs of my weight for the last 10 or 11 years. It seems that every time I finally succeed in getting my weight down to where I feel healthy and fit, some aspect of life, some excuse...something, always gets in the way and reverses the success I've gained. A co-worker just introduced me to this site and I'm hoping it will keep me on track and finally allow me to maintain my acheivements once I reach my goals. Part of my everyday challenge (both with weight loss and life in general) is my approach to everyday events. Therefore, my new motto is "Calm and Strong" to remind me to be strong mentally and physically, and to remain calm through life's ups and downs. I can't change everything around me, but I can change what I don't like about myself and I can change how I respond to life. I can remain Calm and Strong.
