Living in my own little world...

Time to update my intro. I'm pleased to say that I have been able to stick with the Atkins lifestyle and I am seeing results. That makes me happy. I don't think I've ever stuck with a "diet" or life change for this long ... except for the negative life change of eating too much & not exercising.

I now enjoy exercise, though I will admit - some days it's a push to get myself moving! But once I get into it, I love it.

My Goals:
I want to lose over a hundred pounds. I celebrated the first 10 and will continue to celebrate each 10 as they melt away!

My Program:
I was strict low carb and that worked for a while. Now I'm trying to focus more on clean eating - keeping out processed food & sugar. Meats, veggies, whole grains and dairy.

Exercise!
Walking, elliptical, zumba, jillian michaels and aerobics. I wanted to become a runner but with the arthritis in my knee, the doctor has frowned on that! So I get in my power walks which still get me to sweat & make me feel great. Now I need to incorporate more strength training in to my routine.

Personal Information:
My name is Diane and I am 46 yrs old. I'm married with 2 children and we have a bunch of animals. I live in the Pocono mountains and love it here. Love the wild life, the weather and all the amazing places to hike. It is a beautiful area and I hope to get more active as more weight comes off.

Yes, I have 3 kitties and a small dog too. LOL The funny thing is, is that my dog is the smallest out of all of them. Poor thing.. Must be humiliating for a dog. LOL
I just need to 'preplan' my meals each week. I ALWAYS stay on track when I do that. I like to make a pretty big portion of meat in a crock-pot, and then just add different sides through-out the week. Works well for me when I actually do it!! I just need to get back on track and "get-her-done"!
