Living in my own little world...

Time to update my intro. I'm pleased to say that I have been able to stick with the Atkins lifestyle and I am seeing results. That makes me happy. I don't think I've ever stuck with a "diet" or life change for this long ... except for the negative life change of eating too much & not exercising.

I now enjoy exercise, though I will admit - some days it's a push to get myself moving! But once I get into it, I love it.

My Goals:
I want to lose over a hundred pounds. I celebrated the first 10 and will continue to celebrate each 10 as they melt away!

My Program:
I was strict low carb and that worked for a while. Now I'm trying to focus more on clean eating - keeping out processed food & sugar. Meats, veggies, whole grains and dairy.

Exercise!
Walking, elliptical, zumba, jillian michaels and aerobics. I wanted to become a runner but with the arthritis in my knee, the doctor has frowned on that! So I get in my power walks which still get me to sweat & make me feel great. Now I need to incorporate more strength training in to my routine.

Personal Information:
My name is Diane and I am 46 yrs old. I'm married with 2 children and we have a bunch of animals. I live in the Pocono mountains and love it here. Love the wild life, the weather and all the amazing places to hike. It is a beautiful area and I hope to get more active as more weight comes off.

I love freckles! I think they're cute.

Agree with you, that's the great thing about kids when they haven't learnt our belief systems yet, they literally will accept anyone as long as you are loving to them.

Hehe yeah totally let me know if you do a full body mask. It's so fun to do it at home. I get my clay from amazon, as I get pretty much everything mail order since I don't shop for anything other than clothes.
