Thanks for stopping by. I have been a disaster this past week. I had Flu A for over 2 weeks and once I felt better - not good, just better - we did quite a few Christmas activities and I ate. Nothing truly diet related either. I know the rest of the year may be a disaster but I have high hopes for 2018.

Because we're are down to eight,
    some Christmas cookies I'll bake.
Of course I'll be sure to decorate
All the ones that I will make.
I'll shake some sprinkes of green & red.
Then go onto baking my bread.
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
There will have to be some gingerbread,
We can't forget the fruit cake.
    That people insist I make.
    I use my Grandma's recipe.
It's the best, and can't be beat.
And people absolutely love to eat!!
The last thing I bake is of course the pie..
I'll be so happy to be done,
But it sure was a lot of fun!
emoticon Whatever you do today, be sure to have a lot of fun emoticon

Will you have time for your gift wrapping, and your decorating?
Do you have time to write & send out your cards?

Can you believe there are only 9 days, yes I said 9, till Christmas
(actually 8 days, & a few hours) emoticon
Do you think you'll have time to get it all done? emoticon emoticon emoticon

With only 10 Days left, we need to stop, take a deep breath, sit back,
relax, and take a few minutes to read what a boy & girl want for Christmas.
emoticon emoticon What A Boy Wants For Christmas emoticon emoticon

Darren remembers accompanying his father out shopping
in the toy department of Macy's one Christmas Eve.
Dad said, 'What a marvelous train set. I'll buy it.'
The girl behind the counter looked pleased and murmured,
'Great, I'm sure your son will really love it.'
Dad replied with a glint in his eye, 'Maybe you're right. In that case I'll take two.'

The Santa Claus at the shopping mall was very surprised when Emily,
a young lady aged about 20 years old walked up and sat on his lap.
Now, we all know that Santa doesn't usually take requests from adults,
She smiled very nicely at him, so he asked her,
'What do you want for Christmas?'
'Something for my mother, please,' replied Emily sweetly.
'Something for your mother? Well, that's very loving and thoughtful of you,'
smiled Santa. 'What would you like me to bring her?
Without turning a hair Emily answered quickly, 'A son-in-law.'

What would YOU want for Christmas? Do you have it on YOUR list?
emoticon ~~If not...spend time today making YOUR list~~ emoticon

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Time to get gifts in the mail.
It's the busiest day of the year.
So get them on their way.
They need to be packed & stuffed
Full of gifts & goodies you'll send.
Wrap them so pretty, with ribbons & bows
Don't forget to include the tags that say
    ""Don't open till Christmas Day.""
