Eat. Move. Spark.

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I live in California with my husband and two kids.

I weighed 281 lbs when I joined SparkPeople in September 2012. My highest recorded weight was 291 in May 2011. I reached my goal weight of 140 lbs in February 2014.

Now I am adjusting to maintenance and trying to adapt my nutrition accordingly. Some days I am more successful than others.

Thanks! It seems that writing down my food really helped me spot this. I still track on here, especialy since I have so much already saved and it will do the math for me. In my paper journal I've been writing down each meal's calories, carbs, fat and protein. Breaking it up and writing it down like that reinforced the disparity more so than just plugging everything into a computer. Isn't it interesting what works and doesn't for all of us. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Why resist? Space issues - in my fridge and in my tummy! I keep thinking "ooh - some of these, and some of those, and... and... and..." and I end up doing a mad cooking spree to put "these" and "those" in to things that I can freeze so I don't end up throwing them out!

It's currently 90 degrees here, and I don't have A/C: mad cooking sprees are NOT on my list of things I want to do!
