One Step at a Time

I've been on Sparkpeople off and on since August 2010, but I recommitted just before Christmas 2012 through April of 2013 - did great and lost about 15 pounds for the year. Then I promptly went into overdrive at work and completely off balance. I have started working out again and being more conscientious about my eating habits. The balance to keep everything going is the hardest part - but I am working out 5 times a week minimum and have people to check with to keep me motivated. Oh - and ...

Oh - and having a future date fixed for an accomplishment helps too! I love the interaction of the Sparkpeople community and look forward to my journey as well as the end result! Hopefully I will be better at my interaction as I've worked on finding balance.

I like to listen to rock music when I workout. The intesity helps me go longer and push harder. I love Nonpoint and Finger Eleven when I'm running and lifting. There is something about the hard, fast beats that keep my feet moving :)
