I joined SP in March 2007 and lost 25 lbs over about 5 months.

Well, today is January 5, 2013 and I am once again using my SparkPeople account to see if I can lose those last 10 pounds. I use what I learned on spark to maintain pretty well between 140-145 but I would still like to get down to 130. Let's see how it goes...

My Goals:
1/5/13: Lose 15 lbs by 8/1/13

I hope to lose 23 pounds by the end of the summer. Then my goal is to keep it off for life.

New goal as of 11/29/07: I have been maintaining 139-141 lbs for about 3 months now. With Christmas coming up, I don't think I will lose any more weight this year so my short-term goal is to maintain 139-141 until after the New Year. I will then go for my mid-term goal of losing that last 10 lbs or more! before my birthday which is 5/25.

Update as of 3/11/2008: I am still maintaining my weight at 139 but still hope to lose another 10 (or 20?) pounds by my birthday.

6/10/08: OK so I didn't meet my goal by my birthday but I am oh-so-close! I plan to lose the last 6 pounds by the end of summer: 9/1/2008

My Program:
1/5/13: training for a 10k to be run on 4/27, when it gets warm enough, I will ride bike to work (10 mi each way)

I go to the gym about 6 days a week. In the winter, I love to cross-country ski; in the summer I love to ride my bicycle.

I still go to the gym about 3-4 days a week - so busy! But when I do go to the gym, I usually burn around 500 calories.

3/11/2008: I am training for the Get In Gear 10k on 4/26/2008 in Minneapolis so I run 3 days a week and cross train 2 days a week.

6/10/08: I have started riding my bike both to and from work for a total of 20 miles per day. I also try to get in some weight lifting a couple times a week.

8/13/08: I am training for a 10k on 9/20 so I am running 3 miles, 3x per week. Plus riding bike to work (20 miles round trip) 2 or 3 days a week!

Personal Information:
My two kitties have gone to heaven and my dog is a very old man. My ever-loving hubby is still supportive and the kindest man ever. My sonny is still trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up ; )

I am from the Twin Cities, MN. I graduated from the U of MN and work at Ameriprise Financial. I have a wonderful Husband, Joel, a loving Son, Edison, an "old-man" dog, Lucky and two cozy cats, Pumpkin and Turkey. I love to read (current interest is medieval mysteries), and do crossword puzzles and Sudoku. I also love bicycling & running in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. You can never have too much snow!

Other Information:
My favorite movie of all time is Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window. My favorite book of all time after the Bible, of course! is Jane Eyre.

The best radio station to listen to is CrossRhythms, based in Stoke-on-Trent, UK. I listen to them on the internet while at work.
