Doing this FOR ME!

I started over trying to lose weight right before Christmas 2012 when I was at my all-time high weight of 311 pounds. I was doing so well - getting lots of exercise, eating healthy foods, and then I hurt my back in July 2013. Six months later, I'm finally able to get back to my routine. I'm single again, and I'm back on track.

I'm doing this because I WANT TO. I want to be able to shop in misses instead of women's plus. I want to be able to run five miles (but I'll start with being able to run to the end of my street and back). I want to go horseback riding again. I want to be able to go hiking, biking and canoeing which will be great, because I'm moving to Alaska in April.
I want to get the right start on my new life. I know what I need to do, and I'm going to do it.

My Program:
Choosing healthier foods including fresh veggies and fruits, lowfat dairy products, lean protein and whole grains. Cutting down on time spent at the computer and using that time to be active in some way.

Personal Information:
I live in Saratoga Springs, NY but I'm moving to Homer, Alaska at the beginning of April. Can't wait!

Other Information:
I refuse to rest my weight ticker to reflect the 20 pounds I gained after my back injury. Just not going to go there...and it's extra motivation, because I really want to see the number on that ticker go down!!

Thanks so much for your comment! One of the things that I really rely on while on my journey is a strong support system. It's wonderful to know that other people have the same struggles, as well as the same goals! I hope you get back in the saddle soon!
