Love your rain story with the grandson! That's precious. Glad you were able to get your tire fixed with no big problem. We have a sump pump. The realtor thought maybe it had quit, so Bob will have to get a new one. Thanks for the prayers. We have a friend in southern Iowa who is an over the road truck driver. He and Bob ended up in the same place in Illinois tonight - they had been working on a meeting point all day - so Bob is spending the night with him in the sleeper of his big rig. Who ever would have thought! Have a great Thursday.
Thanks for the story about your car. Realtor had an open house today. The John Deere Golf Classic is in the area. Nobody came to the open house. She thinks it was because of the Classic. Then it has rained LOTS there. The grass was out of control and mildew in the basement. I about had a stroke. She also had a showing at 6pm. I got ahold of our neighbor an hour before the showing and he said he would mow the grass. DS Mike is going to go get a dehumidifier tomorrow on his lunch our and go set it up in the basement. I probably had the air to high as paying a big bill with nobody there - not good. Well, the realtor turned it down so guess I'll have to suck it up. I just pray the thing sells. The guy next door sold his house but he priced it really cheep. That makes things bad also. Enough complaining. Hope you have a really great week!
I agree, think all of us are creatures of habit so one level or another. She got a 1998 Chevy Malibu. It's a pretty blue. Has a little over 100,000 miles. It runs good and looks cute. God willing it will get her to school and the beach. She is so happy now. She is looking for a job but because she had some money left she isn't stressing over not getting one right away. I told her one will open up for her, just keep putting in applications. Hope you have a happy Sunday! I'm praying for a good open house, I'd love for someone to give us an offer!
WOOHOO Larry's coming to dinner, awesome. That will lift your spirits. Bella was so upset last night over the car. I told her God had just the right one for her, for all we knew we would go to that lot and there would be the perfect one sitting there for her for much less money. Well, guess what, that's exactly what happened. The insurance was only 400 for 6 months. Really good when you are 18 and just started driving. We went to Walmart and she bought seat covers for it. You just can't wipe the smile off her face. Love it. She also got flowers today (first ones ever from a guy) from her friend in WI. She was shocked. This indeed was a great day. I pray you will have one of these days soon!! Have a really great weekend
