Congrats on your accomplishments! I was so excited to read your story. I too have found and fell in love with Crossfit. I had to begin at the Master's level (which is the lowest) but just got to Basics this week. It has taken me awhile because I started at 313 pounds....now I am at 290lbs. It has been slow on the scale, but I am able to do things like run a 550 without stopping and do a burpee with my chest hitting the deck finally. I am still really slow and I am usually the last one to finish my workouts and I am the heaviest person there, but I am so full of confidence that I don't care. People there cheer me on no matter what. I have found a really great gym. I no longer say that I can't do that...now I say...I am going to try. I maybe look at the scale every few weeks, but I am more interested in how many rounds I can achieve in an AMRAP.
I can go on and on about this. But thanks for sharing with us.
