I Run for Quality of Life

A few years ago, I lost 20 pounds on South Beach Phase III. Now that I have gained back several pounds, I need to focus on getting back to 136-138, the weight at which I ran best in my 30's. The photo is a meet in Japan 20+ years ago with members of the Yokota Striders running club and Japanese friends. I'm the short guy in the light blue warmups. Go Striders!

I guess somebody has to be your first commenter. That honor has fallen to me.

Many thanks for your insightful comments on my blog. Yes, excessive imbibing of anything (including water or cold coffee) can have deleterious effects. So far here, I have seen pretty solid benefit from sticking to the recommended water regimen.

Please to have made your acquaintance here (and as I see) in the 50+ Males group. We men seem so few and far between here.

Added you as a Spark friend. If your judgment is imperiled, you will add me back. If you are as wise as you are learned, conversely, you will ignore the preposterousness of the idea and be better off for the absence of contact. Your call...

Thanks again.
