I am still trying after all these years. This year my hubby and I are doing the Dash diet. We started on January 4th. By March 1st he had set up an "activity" area in the basement. We haven't used it that much yet but it's there. Hopefully working on this together is the key for both of us.

I feel really bad that I have not be keeping up with people better! Are you on facebook? I feel like running has completely taken over my life and the sad thing is I love it so much! Who looks forward to running hill repeats??? Jeesh!

My goodness, I've been a busy little bee!! Taking a minute to chill out and catch up on me. I slept 15 hours Saturday night! Who does that?? I know I needed it. I got up and went to a race, came home and slept 3 more hours. Now to get all my training in through out the week and see if this week-ends race times are gonna stick!

Hope you are doing well and still getting in the mileage. One of the things my group has been doing is setting a goal of a minimum of 40 miles per month, whether it be walking, running or biking. You are to pick a goal like that and see how you do :D

Gosh girl, get that spunky butt back out there and try those shoes. Try just walking 3 days a week for 30 minutes, make that man of yours go with. Do that for 2-3 weeks, then add in 20-30 second really comfortable jogging sessions every few minutes. Just increase it every couple of weeks. Then start the c25k, even if at the end you still have to walk part of a 5k you will be where I was just a year ago. Oh and if people are watching you it is because they are not moving! When I see people who look like they are just getting started I feel so emotional and proud of them!! Don't shy away from it! You can do it!! Get back on that DASH, it is 80% nutrition! Never leave! I love you and would really miss you!

Just checking in with you, things are about the same, but I am keeping my head in the game, dealing with stress by pounding the pavement as they say! I won a free entry into another half marathon, so I am signed up for two more halves and then a full in Oct. I know, I have lost my ever living mind! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!! LOL

Hope you are well, I sure miss everyone keeping in touch on here!
