I am still trying after all these years. This year my hubby and I are doing the Dash diet. We started on January 4th. By March 1st he had set up an "activity" area in the basement. We haven't used it that much yet but it's there. Hopefully working on this together is the key for both of us.

We all get down at times, I do all the time, it is normal, it is hormonal, what you do to combat it is the key. For me just exercising beats that crap out of it. Sounds like you need something new to challenge you. Maybe in your meal planning you can try to get creative, find some new recipes that spark your taste buds. How about trying a new exercise, maybe bowling?

Something I did recently was a fitness test. 1 minute of situps, 1 minute of pushups, 3 minutes of step ups. I logged my results and I am going to do them again in one month and see if I can improve. Maybe that is something you can try and then challenge yourself to add those exercises in a couple times a week to try to improve.

Hey, on the bright side, it is day light svaings time this week-end, wooo hooo!!! Love ya Sis! Keep going and stay strong!

I can't believe it either!! I just knew there was no way I was going to be able to run 9 miles on a treadmill, 6 was bad enough and with a group run I know if anything happens I am not alone, though I am much slower than everyone else, especially in the snow!! It was only cold while we waited on everyone to get there and then the first 2 miles. I almost didn't go at all, so glad I did, I feel very accomplished and sore, should have stretched!

I wish I knew how to give you the mojo!! I think it is my addictive personality, but everyone I run with has a reason, some run so they can eat, others just for the fun, something to do with their spouse, to get fit, lose weight and some just because they like to win. There are 237 people in my running group and it is a private group on facebook. Having the monthly challenges helps too.

As for my hair it looks really blonde, but it isn't and I am horrible at selfies, lol, I even hate that word!

So how about you?? Ready for spring? You and hubby still working hard at it??
