Hi there and welcome to my SparkPage! My name is Danielle and I'm here to win my battle with food and weight loss. For as long as I can remember, I've been overweight. But it finally starting sinking in when I just recently turned eighteen that I don't want to be overweight forever. I want to be around for many moons and see my grandchildren grow up. I want to be able to still go on hikes and go swimming when I'm sixty.

My original weight when I joined SparkPeople was 251. Since then, I gained an additional fifteen pounds. And again since then, I have lost thirty-one pounds (confused yet? LOL!). So as of right now, I am 235 pounds and shrinking daily!

Originally, I had said my goal was to be 200 pounds on my wedding day, September 22nd. But I honestly don't see that happening. So my goal for right now is to lose those 35 pounds by the time 2013 rolls around. I will do this by regularly working out and by doing the Atkin's Diet.

My Goals:
My ultimate goals: To be a size 10 (or smaller). To be a healthy weight (115-130 pounds according to my height). To feel happier and healthier.

My long-term goals: To be under 200 pounds by the end of 2012.

My short term goals: To be under 220 by my wedding.

My Program:
I am following the Atkins diet, taking long walks and oing videos on Spark to reach my goals. Other than that, I'm really sweating it all that much.
