Waking the Tiger

I am new to spark people and am hoping to create a healthy lifestyle for myself. I want to lose weight down to a healthy weight and also move and exercise every day. I am looking for a way to stay motivated and on track and hope that this sight will help me do that. So far I have not been disappointed as there are so many interesting and supportive people active here.

My Goals:
Enter a summary of your goals, or just a few you would like to share.
My goal is to lose 70 pounds and to get back on track with my glucose numbers. I want to be able to move and exercise and feel strong and flexible again.

My Program:
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals. I am tracking my intake of food and exercising most days. I also journal everyday to help me get over the hard spots.

You can look at a mountain as a wild place of beauty to view or paint or photograph from a safe distance; or a wild place capable of destruction like Mount St. Helens. Or you can look at it as a wild challenge that you take on one step at a time. When you begin the challenge you'll have no idea how long it will take to get to the top, but you know you will with the support of your team.
