Difficulty in weight loss

i have tried for a long time to lose weight, but i believe my biggest problem is being at the computer too many hours of the day either eating or just wasting time a lot.i am a single 58 year old woman who is very interested in the Holy Bible.my goals are to learn patience and be consistent in the correct things pertaining to weight loss. i am a Christian who prefers to be by themselves a lot of the time .

I read and commented on your post in the 10 minute exercise team and you are an encouragement...it made me feel good that someone was actually having a conversation with another member. That is what this place is about, helping each other reach our goals.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and comment! No real secret here, lol. I stay in my calorie range and within my nutrient ranges and try to burn some calories everyday in some way to create the magical calorie deficit.

Hi! Thanks for checking out my blog on the Primal or Paleo lifestyle. I've just started it, so I'm by no means an expert, but it's basically a diet without processed foods, grains, and refined sugars. The bonus to this diet is that you can eat as much meat, good healthy fats, vegetables, fruits, and nuts as you want. You probably won't go over your calories for the day because you just can't put that much natural food into your stomach without it feeling stuffed.

For better info, there are a lot of great websites out there like MarksDailyApple.com. A good free video on Hulu.com that talks about how our eating has changed and how to eat better is "Fat Head," and there are also teams here on SparkPeople like "Primal Lifestyle" and "Paleo Diet."

As for the cost, I've actually seen my grocery bill go down. I'm not buying all the processed stuff and no grains anymore so that cuts out a lot of things, and I'm just not as hungry as I was when I was eating like a typical American, so I need less food now.

The only downside I've seen is that the first two weeks I had a mild headache every day because my body was used to grains and sugars. I was also a little sluggish the first week.

Hi !! I saw your need for support. I too spend too much time on the computer. I always say "I'll just look up one more thing". I'll put down (laptop) then next thing you know I think of something else to look up. I see you are a Christian. That's great!!! Pray for the things you need help with. I pray that I will not desire to binge. I have not had a "real good" binge in a long time. Wishing you great success on your journey !!
