I want to participate in the Knight Run 5K in October.
I plan to gradually increase the length and time of my walk/runs each week. I plan to walk/run at least 5 days per week.
I live in the foothills of North Carolina near Lake Hickory. I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful area. I can be at the beach in four hours, a big city in a little more than an hour, and the mountains in 20 minutes. I get the best of all worlds.

Thank you so much!! I will check that out. I feel so overwhelmed because as I'm researching, one says to follow the meditteranean diet which is mostly whole grains, and then paleo which is no grains. It gets os confusing with all the information out there. I know the only way to find out what helps me is to try various things and see how my body reacts. I guess I have some work to do lol. :)
