I would like to lose 5% of my total body weight during the challenge. I would also like to push myself just a little bit harder.
I will continue with my walking program. During the challenge I plan to add strength training to my exercise routine. I want to add some body weight exercises for at least 10 minutes two mornings per week and a longer session 10 - 20 minutes over the weekend. I also plan to stay within a new calorie range that is recommended for people with thyroid issues.
I live in the foothills of North Carolina near Lake Hickory. I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful area. I can be at the beach in four hours, a big city in a little more than an hour, and the mountains in 20 minutes. I get the best of all worlds.
