I made a conscious decision a couple of years ago to take care of ME. Now, due to a foot injury, I have had to start over. BUT, I feel better now in my 50's than I did in my 30's and 40's. Life is a journey, we can sit and watch the world go by or we can go out and be a part of it!

My Goals:
Reboot for new schedule.
1. Track food at least 5 days per week
2. Do stretching exercises 3 mornings during the work week.
3. Meet my step goal each day.



My Program:
After months and months of a plateau and pain from a foot injury. I decided to scrap what wasn't working and start all over. My goal was to increase my activity level without foot pain. I use my fitbit to stay within the step and mile range that keeps me pain free. I increase at a rate of 10% if I go a week without losing.

Personal Information:
I live in the foothills of North Carolina near Lake Hickory. I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful area. I can be at the beach in four hours, a big city in a little more than an hour, and the mountains in 20 minutes. I get the best of all worlds.

Any exercise you do is awesome! 10 minutes is fantastic - and it even registers on your pedometer!

Don't rule out marching in place while watching TV and doing a couple of reps of "whatever" while washing your hands in the potty too.

Anything and everything helps!
