Walking By Faith

I took a bit of a break from Spark because my schedule just was not allowing me any time to be here. The resulting weight gain has me running back to SparkLand with the hope that I can jump back on the wagon and get back into some healthy habits. I'm gonna need my SparkFriends!

I live in southeast Michigan.

I want to live a healthy lifestyle so I can be active with my kids and teach them healthy living skills.

I work a a very full-time job as a director of religious education and youth minister. But I have the bonus of extra time off during the summer with my kids!

Sip a daily 16 oz cup/glass of green tea, with a little lemon juice, (or more throughout the day, if you like). Hot or cold, your choice. Green tea blocks the “bloat hormone” (vasopressin) that prompts your body to hold on to fluids, especially on hot days, so drinking green tea could be the key to a slimmer-looking you this Summer!
