Nutrition:
Plan three meals and two snacks per day with sensible portion sizes. Drink enough water each day. Limit soda, juice, and sweets. Avoid packaged, processed foods as much as possible.

When the munchies strike: Drink 16 oz water. Brush teeth. Take a 10-min walk. Blog or post on Spark People. Clean something.

Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is 20% exercise and 80% nutrition. Feed yourself well.

Glad to see you are still around. I am just getting back to it. Lots of reasons kept me away but mentally I feel ready to battle again. So far I've been successful for 5 days!

Hello. Thanks for the high five goodie! You are having a great week with exercise.....keep up the good work! You are a busy mom, and you make no excuses. emoticon

Over here, struggling with my fitness minutes from a cold and ridiculous work deadlines (I can't wonder why I got the cold!), but I am making sure I get at least 10 fitness minutes in every day....and especially focus on staying at the low end of my daily calorie range. If it were not for our Winter Challenge, I would be on the couch when I am not working in front of my computer, so it is a really important Challenge for me. No matter. One must "just do it."

Let's rock it this week! emoticon
