I'm just saying "Hi" since it has been awhile. How is everything going? How are you finding the food and the exercise? What's new? Thinking of you - Deborah 2574 days ago
HONEYBEE56 Hi again! You know me; I've been reading again... I just read that a spoonful of cooked black rice packs the same amount of anthocyanins as a spoonful of fresh blueberries, but with less sugar and more fiber and vitamin E. I'm not sure that rice is a fruit substitute in that case though; I'll have to give that some food for thought!
I'm waiting impatiently for the spring sunshine to come; I know it's out there somewhere, it just hasn't broke through our continual thick cloud cover yet.
I hope you are getting some nice weather where you are! Take care and have a wonderful weekend! Dusty
It said that when you're feeling groggy or foggy to sniff ground sage for an energy boost. Research showed that sage aroma suppresses the enzyme acetylcholinesterase that prevents the brain's ability to feel alert and happy! Not only that, but aromatherapy experts say sage can improve mental focus AND memory!
My personal suggestion is...fresh ground or a good brand of coarse ground sage. The cheap stuff is very offensive to my nose.
