Hi, my name is Sasha. Im 36 and a mother of three. I have been overweight my entire life. I have in the past lost weight, only to gain it back with each pregnancy.
My youngest child is 4. So I really cant call it baby weight anymore!
I was talking to a neighbor about music a couple of weeks ago. As we began talking, he was shocked to learn I was only 36 and that he thought I was his "contemporary". After I went home a looked in the dictionary to make sure I knew what the words meaning was...(haha)/ I was infuriated!!!! He's in his 50's!
That was my turning point. This excess weight that I carry, was making me look frumpy, lazy and old.
So I have decided to do something about it. I want the vitality and energy that I once had. Only, I want better than I had before. So Im starting my journey to my optimal healthy self! I currently weigh 242. Im 5'7'. My goal weight is 145. So to the neighbor who thought I was old,I should just thank him for motivating me to do something about it!

My Goals:
I, like many people do much better with anything if I can cut the major goal down to smaller increments. So with weight loss my goal is in 10% increments. My first goal is 14pds....and so on. Its realistic, and I believe a great way to chart ones success!


My Program:
My program basically consists of eating "clean". No junk food, processed foods, fast foods...etc.
I enjoy walking, and I have so many hills in my area, that its such a great workout, eventually I would like to progress to running!



Personal Information:
Im a 36 year old wife, mother, and domestic engineer(haha!) I currently live in beautiful Southern California. I am a transplant, originally from the small town of Alton Illinois. My neighborhood is full of hills, and my goal is to be able to walk up each one of them by the end of the year without passing out!


Other Information:
My motto is, you have to burn to learn in life...It definitely translates to a healthier lifestyle. Burn calories, feel the burn of a good workout and eventually burn up all those old fat clothes too!
