Losing baby weight and getting back in shape

After a good pregnancy and the arrival of my gorgeous daughter, I'm ready to get back in shape! I have 5 pounds left of pregnancy weight and 10 pounds of before I was pregnant weight to lose. I also want to get back in cardiovascular shape, although I worked out throughout my whole pregnancy, I was obviously limited in this respect so I'm looking forward to my first 6 mile run post partum.

My Goals:
Short term: lose the last 5 pounds of pregnancy weight.

Long term: Lose 10 pounds to get back to the weight I was a few years ago (and for many years before that), when I was the most healthy and in the best shape.

My Program:
- Calorie count under 1600 every day
- gym, run or exercise DVD 5 days a week
-300 sit ups before bed 5 days a week
-drink tons of water
- break my 4 pm snacking habit

Hey! Thanks for the comment on my blog :). As for my runs, I do one of 3 things. No matter what I'm running when DH is home so he can be with her while I run. Usually that means I have to run right after Alexa's AM feeding which tends to be between 6-7am. This means I run before he goes to work for the day. Sometimes I run after he gets home though if Alexa didn't sleep well. I don't take her with for my runs but I do take her on walks on my nonrun days. I don't know if I'll ever be able to run more than 3 days a week at this time, at least not until I can bring her with me!
