I AM NO LONGER AT GROUND ZERO!!

One step-at-a-time to regain my fitness. I had a distal pancretectomy and splenectomy 11/18/13. I am slowly going to regain the aerobic and muscular strength that I had pre-surgery. My fitness level is what helped in my recovery and my early discharge. So I WANT it back. Not so much to look good ( I have to admit that I was very vain about my firm triceps lol) but because fitness is functional- the lower heart rate aids in recovery and also exercise increased the immune system. So I returned to the gym on 1/1/14 , doing my favorite exercise - spinning. In about a week or so I will try sports conditioning to see how that works out. I am on the way to getting my health groove back.

I am just 7 credits from graduating with my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts June 2014.

Finally found the job that I have been looking for since 2002 and I am loving it.

Good morning and WOW! I'm so impressed with your fitness minutes for the month!!! You are doing great with getting it in!! My goal was for 1500 minutes this month, so far, I have 555. Yeah, I'm a little behind schedule, but, I'm going to try to get as close as possible. I'll be happy with that! Have a great week! emoticon
