You can call me Waterbridge - cuz everything til now is "water under the bridge". I have been away from SparkPeople for a long time and recently returned as I go through a period of self-reinvention. After many years of working in marketing for companies I am now freelance and following my dream of writing. It is challenging and I find that having SparkPeople and its tools and community gives me great focus which is spilling over into other areas and will help me reach other goals.
As I am getting smaller and fitter, my dreams keep growing. I am applying some of the SparkPeople approach to my own freelance career as I have new goals, metrics, and rewards, and support.
I want to lose 50 pounds and increase my level of fitness to ensure that I maintain good health as I age.
I am focusing on food tracking and getting the proper nutritional balance as well as target range of calories. For exercise I am trying to do 10,000 steps per day but also supplement this with WiiFit and other activities whenever possible.
I live in the Toronto area in Canada
Two of my favourite writers are Maeve Binchey and Mary Higgins Clarke.
that bean was from regular grocery dried beans purchased for red beans & salsa recipe... If I had room I would add in a new avocado seed from grocery store like I did in 2012- but I gave it away to my neighbor when I relocated... I originally thought grocery beans & avocado were treated and wouldn't grow-boy was I wrong...
Thank you and I am truly flattered that you think I am an inspiration. I really do want people to know that it's possible to change your life and achieve your dreams. It's frustrating for me to accept that it takes longer to recover from a hard workout than it used to but looking back, even a bad day now is 10 times better than a good day 5 years ago.
Ooooh, I regret that it's taken awhile to officially say hello , but I promise I had good reasons (explained below)!
you for commenting on my April 5, 2010 daily Spark, "Envisioning Your Future with a Collage and Some Friends." Yours is definitely one of the most romantically realized Visions about which I've heard! At some point the dailySpark coaches talked about my writing a follow-up, sharing successful Vision Collages (even if still in progress). Would you be willing for me to contact you about sharing your story?
I've added you as Friend, and look forward to learning about your Vision Collage journey since then...or, if life's been too busy, of offering my hand and inviting you to take that next step this autumn, through my favorite Vision Collage medium, SoulCollage®.
As another enthusiastic Sparker, I have a special offer created with you in mind!
I'm in the process of planning ongoing, online (probably monthly) workshops for SoulCollage® Life Vision card-making and card-journaling in community , ideally with an online classroom so we have live access to one another for that block of a few hours. My goal is to mirror the actual workshops I have facilitated in person. The difference is, in the Spirit of SparkPeople, these workshops are free! Monthly groups are by sign-up, so there is no obligation.
SoulCollage® through the venue of SparkPeople is so exciting to the SoulCollage.com community that we have the enthusiastic support of author Seena Frost and her staff. On top of THAT, KaleidoSoul creator (and Sparker) Anne Marie Bennett asked to co-lead our SparkSoulCollage® this time around.
Okay, okay, I've been MIA after jumping into the Spark pool last year in spring . But, hey, a baby arrived (grandson) who needed "daycare," so my absence has been honorable (and fun!). On top of that, I've recently rescued a Golden Retriever . I call them my two golden B-Boys (Brock and Bradyn).
Please, please say I can count you in! (I equally welcome hearing if it is not a fit right now. I promise: No judgment or tears .)
Regardless of where your path leads, I hold you in affection and wish the best for you. Sue P.S. For your convenience, you can revisit my article by copying and pasting this link: http://www.dailyspark.com/blog.asp?post= envisioning_your_future_with_a_collage _and_some_friends
